PROJECT INTENT 
The Dunlap Family Outpatient Center eliminates the need for patients to travel long distances to receive care by delivering comprehensive world-class healthcare directly to the community. The new facility embraces and applies the research-supported idea that the physical environment can positively impact the healing process. Patients remain close to home and experience a calming transition from arrival, through reception, to appointment, all within a comfortable, hospitality-focused environment that utilizes positive distractions and natural light as focal elements. The Outpatient Center provides a true community approach to care delivery by organizing the most-utilized outpatient services in a centralized location near the entry. This effective layout simplifies the patient visit, and also encourages staff to function with superior efficiency. Physicians now perform surgery in the same facility that patients visit their offices. This project, located squarely in the community it serves, creates a community of care supporting a superior experience for all.
